Relieving The Filipino-Spanish History in Vigan City
Imagine a place where you want to take pictures of every corner while hoping to have seen the place during the 16th century. The city was a magnificent sight to behold, the people were all nice and friendly, and the food was oh so scrumptious. It was something you cannot find in Metro Manila.

This place is located about 251 miles or 404 kilometers from Manila. It is a UNESCO Heritage Site and is also included in the New 7 Wonders Cities. Vigan is known for its longaniza, bagnet (a Filipino dish consisting of pork belly boiled and deep fried until it is crispy), and empanada (a fried pastry that originated from Spain and its former Latin American colonies. An empanada is made with wheat flour and stuffed with meat, carrots, corn, cheese, and/or peppers)

Here is a series of my favorite photographs taken from Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.
